Successful event on the occasion of the IEC TC 37/SC 37A plenary meeting of Milan signed by Zotup
MILAN, Italy - In the week from 22 to 26 May 2023, the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) TC 37/SC 37A Committee met in Italy - - Low voltage protection devices - for the technical encounters of the various Working Groups inherent Working Groups to protection from overvoltage. The IEC Committee is a worldwide organization that provides international regulations governing all electricalologies, including the production and distribution of energy, electronics, magnetism, electromagnetism, etc. Milan was the scene of this relevant technical meeting, which involved all the national committees regarding overvoltage.
Zotup, an Italian company that produces survivors and whose c.e.o. Gianfranco D’Ippolito is a member of the Committee, he has always operated in full compliance with international regulations. Given the attention and compliance with IEC standards, Zotup has therefore decided to celebrate the plenary meeting by organizing a technical/recreational moment for members with a guided tour to discover Leonardo da Vinci, held on the afternoon of May 25. With this opportunity, the members were able to admire the artistic and cultural wonders of the Lombard capital, celebrating Leonardo da Vinci's priceless genius and legacy, underlining the crucial role that play vision and creativity in the field of engineering and science, giving prominence to sharing ideas.
The main stages were the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, in Piazza Pio XI, and the Leonardo 3 museum, in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. The participants were thus able to deepen the study of Leonardo da Vinci's inventions in the round, viewing the numerous original drawings and notes, exploring the impact they had on contemporary society: from his studies on human anatomy to the design of flying machines, Leonardo's innovations have inspired and influenced numerous fields of interest today.
The Pinacoteca Ambrosiana was established in April 1618 thanks to the donation by Cardinal Federico Borromeo of his collection of paintings, statues and drawings to the Ambrosian Library, which he himself founded in 1607. The focus of the visit in question was the Federician hall Where the Atlantic Code is kept, or the largest existing collection of original drawings and texts by Leonardo da Vinci, together with the crypt of San Sepolcro. The latter, connected to the Pinacoteca and Ambrosiana library, represents a fundamental place in Renaissance Milan, studied by Leonardo da Vinci during his stay in the city: analyzing his plant and conformation, he said he was erected in the "true center of Milan" , or at the intersection of Cardo and Decumano where the Romans managed trade in ancient Mediolanum.
Finally, the Leonardo 3 Museum, overlooking the suggestive Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, allows you to discover the real Leonardo da Vinci artist and inventor, thanks to unpublished reconstructions of his machines, restorations and digital animations of his paintings in world preview, to give to the visitors an immersive 360 ° experience.
In conclusion, in the seal of a solid network between companies open to internationalization, a celebratory moment was held at the Roof Milano restaurant, organized by Zotup S.r.l. and sponsored by Anie-Confindustria-Csi (Italy), A.L.C. (France), Guangdong Lnp Electrical Testing Technology Co. Ltd (China) and Zotup S.r.l. (Italy). Sincere thanks have been expressed to all those who intervened in this plenary by giving their valuable contribution to a technical-scientific level, dedicating the evening to Alain Rousseau, who will preside next September his last meeting in the role of Chairman of the TC 37 Committee 37 /SC 37 to after 9 years of mandate. A dutiful thanks for his commitment, his dedication and his invaluable contribution in promoting international collaboration in the electrotechnical field. Finally, a warm good luck was aimed at Vincent Crevenant, an estimated member of the IEC community, who will play this role towards a future full of successes and new perspectives for the committee.
Milan proved to be a perfect frame, with its vibrant combination of tradition and modernity.
